Founded in 1993 to Promote, encourage and foster interest in Fine Art.

A handful of artists spearheaded by Rebecca Wilkinson  met in Sept 1993 at Gaffney’s Downtown Gallery, Elizabethtown, KY  to  discuss the need for an art organization to promote fine art in Central  Kentucky.  Over the years, CKAG has evolved into a collection  of professional, intermediate and budding artists working in a variety of  mediums.

Each year we  have various group activities such as painting on location, gallery or museum  visits, and  workshops. CKAG holds an  annual All Member Show and sponsors a regional exhibit every other year. Juried  members can take part in area  Business Exhibits which are rotated every 3  months. We strive to uphold the highest standards and principles in the fine  arts.
